How the EdChoice Scholarship Works
Enroll at CBA
Complete our simple enrollment application. We’ll guide you through every step.
We Submit Your Application
Once enrolled, CBA submits your EdChoice scholarship application to the State of Ohio on your behalf.
Tuition Is Covered
The scholarship pays directly to CBA. Families at or below 200% FPL pay nothing out of pocket.

For families at or below 200% FPL
($64,300 for a family of four)
Families above 450% FPL may still qualify for a reduced scholarship. All Ohio families are eligible to apply regardless of income.
Who Qualifies?
Almost every Ohio family qualifies for some level of EdChoice support.
Income-based scholarship available to ALL Ohio students in grades K–12. Amount based on family income relative to the Federal Poverty Level.
Based on student’s residence. If your child is assigned to an underperforming public school, they qualify for a full scholarship regardless of income.
Application window for 2026–27: February 1 – June 20, 2026
New applicants need: birth certificate, proof of address, and income verification via OH|ID.
Renewal families do not need to re-verify income.
