Middle School Program

Grades 6 through 8

Preparing for High School and Beyond

The middle school years are a critical transition — academically, socially, and spiritually. At CBA, our 6th through 8th grade program is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of young adolescents while preparing them for success in high school and beyond.

Our middle school students experience increased academic rigor, greater independence, and deeper spiritual engagement, all within the safe, supportive community that defines CBA.

Academic Program

Advanced Core Subjects — English Language Arts, Mathematics (through Pre-Algebra), Science, and Social Studies are taught at increasing levels of complexity, with emphasis on critical thinking and analytical writing.

Bible & Worldview — Students move beyond Bible stories into apologetics, worldview studies, and practical application of Scripture to the real challenges they face as young adults.

Electives — Technology, art, music, and leadership opportunities allow students to explore their interests and develop new skills.

Athletics — The CBA Eagles compete in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track & field. Athletics teach discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a Christian lens.

High School Preparation — Study skills, time management, and organizational habits are explicitly taught to ensure students transition successfully to their next academic chapter.

Character & Leadership

Middle school at CBA is about more than academics. Students are given opportunities to lead — in Chapel, in student government, in community service, and on the field. We believe these years are where young people begin to discover their calling and develop the character to pursue it.

Our teachers and staff walk alongside students through the ups and downs of adolescence, offering guidance, accountability, and genuine care that helps them navigate this pivotal season with confidence and faith.
